The Government of Mozambique assumed as a strategic commitment and challenge, to organize and carry out the first Edition of the SADC Business Forum, in compliance with the agenda of the Presidency of the Southern African Development Community (SADC), 2020-2021, led by the President of the Republic from Mozambique, Filipe Jacinto Nyusi. The Ministry of Industry and Commerce-MIC Co-chairs the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, the organization of this Forum.

The SADC Business Forum is the first and one of the largest entrepreneurship, opportunity and investment events in the southern African region.

The FNSADC is an initiative of SADC and the Government of Mozambique. It was assumed as a commitment to materialize, during the 40th Virtual Summit of Heads of State and Government of SADC, which took place in Maputo- Mozambique, on August 17, 2020, under the motto “SADC: 40 Years Building Peace and Security, Promoting Development and Resilience in the Face of Global Challenges ”.
